Attorney Biography
I am certainly "different". I do not have a huge volume law practice. I do not, nor do I claim to, handle every type of legal case imaginable. Each year, I agree to represent a limited number of injury accident victims. I am not a "personal injury mill". You will not see me on the back cover of the yellow pages, on T.V. or on billboards. For me, fewer cases mean more time for you and better results overall.
Since 1991, I have represented accident injury clients throughout Georgia. Most of the cases are referred to me by former satisfied clients and by other attorneys. If your case is accepted, you can rest assured that you will receive personal attention. I personally negotiate your case with the insurance company; it will not be done by a paralegal or an “assistant”. I will aggressively represent you within the bounds of the law, keeping you up to date on what is happening on your case, and giving advice about whether you should settle your case or go to trial. All costs and fees will be explained fully to you before work starts on your case. If you do not live in the metro Atlanta area and I agree to take your case, I will come to you.
Each year, there are cases I do not accept for various reasons. Sometimes the best advice you can get is that your injury claim or lawsuit cannot be successfully pursued. If that is true, I will tell you. I will also tell you if I think that you may be better off handling the claim yourself without an attorney, although that is rare. In fact, insurance claims studies have proven time and again that represented claims are settled for at least 3 ½ times more than unrepresented claims.
