Our client, who was a pedestrian, was struck on
Roswell Road in Atlanta after grocery shopping.
Our client was not in the crosswalk but we were
able to show the insurance company that the risk
of an extremely large adverse verdict against
their insured driver, who admitted to having 2
glasses of wine with dinner, was high enough to
pay their limits even though eye-witnesses were
not very favorable. Our client suffered head
injuries and brain trauma, a fractured leg, and
internal injuries to her bladder and liver
requiring open abdominal surgery. She remained
hospitalized at a local hospital for several weeks
in a coma.
