David Dischley took a non-traditional route to becoming a lawyer. Enlisting in the Marine Corps right out of high school, Attorney Dischley served four years as a U.S. Marine. During that time, he obtianed valuable life experience that contributes significantly to his success as a lawyer. After the Marines and obtaining his Associates Degree from Northern Virginia Community College, Attorney Dischley worked full time as he finished his undergraduate studies at George Mason University (GMU).
Contemporaneously with attending GMU, Attorney Dischley worked for the United States Department of State as a Uniformed Officer and for XM Satellite Radio as an NRCC Controller. Upon graduating from GMU, Attorney Dischley attended Albany Law School for his first year. After finishing in the top 16% of his class, Attorney Dischley transferred to George Mason University's School of Law. Attorney Dischley graduated from law school and passed the bar in 2006.
Attorney Dischley's first legal job was with the Office of the Commonwealth Attorney in Loudoun County. In this position, Attorney Dischley prosecuted a variety of criminal cases from DUI | DWI, Reckless Driving to Murder Cases. Having spent three (3) years in that office, Attorney Dischley left prosecuting to work for a government contractor in Northern Virginia. In this position, Attorney Dischley provided legal support and advice on a variety of international crime issues, drug smuggling, and human traffiking.
After a year and a half, Attorney Dischley returned to prosecuting; joining the Office of the Commonwealth Attorney for Fauqueir County. In 2009, Attorney Dischley joined the Bose Law Firm and, as a defense attorney, continued to have successes in the Courtroom defending people. In 2013, Attorney Dischley opened David J. Dischley, PLC where he continues to aggressively and zealously defend his clients.
