Attorney Biography
Marjorie A. Maxwell is a dedicated family law attorney with Laura Dale & Associates, P.C. She focuses her practice on helping clients with family related matters and has extensive experience helping clients with cases, involving child custody disputes with a primary focus on complex marital property characterization and valuation issues.
Marjorie graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2000. She later attended South Texas College of Law and earned her Juris Doctorate degree in 2007. While in law school, she worked for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, interning under the Family Criminal Law Division. She also interned for Lone Star Legal Aid’s Family Litigation Unit.
Marjorie is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas and is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She is a certified mediator through the Frank Evans Center for Conflict Resolution and is a member of several legal organizations, including: the State Bar of Texas Family Law Section, American Bar Association Family Law Section, Houston Bar Association Family Law Section, Association of Women Attorneys, and Burta Rhoades Raborn Inns of Court. Marjorie has been helping families throughout the state of Texas with their legal needs for more than ten years.
