Attorney Biography
Jennifer B. LeMaster focuses her practice in the areas of insurance coverage disputes, general and commercial litigation, and in-house counsel services. She has dedicated her entire career to these specific areas of practice. She is a zealous advocate for policyholders and she works tirelessly for all of her clients to secure the very best results. Jennifer began her career at a Houston-based litigation boutique. She then used her general and commercial litigation experience to work as in-house counsel for Anadarko Petroleum Corporation. She drafted, reviewed and negotiated contracts, with a special focus on indemnity, MSAs, licensing agreements, and special projects.
She continued her work at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation managing litigation. While working in the litigation group at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, she managed mass tort litigation, supported the land development, and managed landowner and personal injury disputes.
Jennifer returned to private practice and, after a short time as an associate, became a partner at an international law firm, specializing in insurance coverage law, general and commercial litigation, and in-house counsel services to small and mid-size businesses in various industries.
While a partner at an international firm, she represented insurance companies, provided coverage opinions and defended coverage disputes. Areas litigated included multi-million dollar coverage disputes involving primary and excess commercial property policies and third-party coverage disputes involving primary and excess liability policies.
Jennifer has significant and successful trial team experiences on many cases where the damage at issue were seven and eight figures. She practiced law in counties throughout the State of Texas, states throughout the country, and even in Europe.
Jennifer has also spent her entire career representing family law clients in divorce, custody and adoption matters. Helping families has been a work of passion for her throughout her career.
Jennifer earned her law degree from the University of Houston Law Center, cum laude, and her Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston, magna cum laude. During law school, she served on the mock trial team and was an Editor of the Houston Journal of Health law and Policy.
In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her two daughters and her husband. She is an avid snow skier, hiker, runner, and lover of the outdoors.
