Attorney Biography
With nearly five decades of experience, Houston personal injury attorney George Wilhite has an impressive record of accomplishment. His insight into the Texas civil justice system for personal injury victims is vast. In his 50 years as an attorney, he has fought for his clients in a wide variety of complex cases, including auto accidents, medical malpractice and premises liability.
George Wilhite also bears the rare distinction of Board Certification in Personal Injury Trial Law. This honor was granted by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization after rigorous examination and peer review. Only a small fraction of the attorneys in Texas bear this distinction and can call themselves "specialists" within their given area of law.
Today, Mr. Wilhite runs Wilhite & Lea, P.C. alongside attorney Keith Lea. The North Houston law firm represents clients in a variety of civil litigation matters in the areas of personal injury, business law, and family law. Mr. Wilhite continues to provide his clients with the same dedication and fierce advocacy as he did when he first began practicing law in Texas.
In his spare time, Mr. Wilhite operates Texas W Ranches with his wife of more than 50 years, Peggy. The ranch raises Texas Longhorn cattle. Mr. Wilhite has served as Director of the Texas Longhorn Breeders Association, President of the Longhorn Breeders Gulf Coast Association, and on the Board of Directors of the Longhorn Breeders Gulf Coast Association.
