Attorney Biography
Chris Stevenson is an experienced attorney with more than 15 years of experience representing clients in commercial litigation. Chris specializes in breach of contracts, copyright infringement, employment disputes, partnership disputes, real estate, collections, and probate and estate administration.
Chris is a native Texan, born in Austin and raised in Victoria, Texas. He attended Nazareth Academy and St. Joseph High School. Chris received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from the University of Texas and went on to study law at South Texas College of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate degree. While at South Texas College of Law, he was a Langdell Scholar and was selected to the Dean’s list for his academic achievements. Chris was also involved in the prestigious South Texas advocacy program and mock trial team where he won several team and individual awards. Chris interned as a law clerk for Adams & Boswell, P.C. while in law school.
Chris has been licensed to practice law in the state of Texas since 2006. He has been an attorney for Adair & Myers since 2006, eventually becoming a partner and forming Adair Myers Stevenson Yagi. While at Adair Myers Stevenson Yagi, Chris has represented businesses and individuals in a variety of civil lawsuits and has handled the prosecution and defense of collection matters. Chris has also handled copyright infringement cases, trademark and trade dress infringement, patent infringement, labor and employment matters, probate and estate administration, and has guided prospective guardians through the guardianship process.
Chris is a member of several legal organizations, including: the American Bar Association, Houston Young Lawyers Association, Houston Bar Association, LawPact™, and the Texas Young Lawyers Association.
When not at the office, Chris enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Chris is an outdoor sports enthusiast and has finished the Texas Water Safari ultra-marathon, the world’s toughest canoe and kayak race, four times.
