Attorney Biography
Brad Shuttleworth studied law at the James Beasley School of Law at Temple University and received his Juris Doctor in 2004. He began his career as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Joseph A. Dych in the Pennsylvania Court of Common Please before opening his own firm, Shuttleworth Law, LLC in 2006. In 2009, he became of counsel to Alva & Associates.
As an attorney admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New Jersey, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, he handles cases throughout both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, serving a range of clients.
Brad is an active member of several legal organizations, including the Pennsylvania Criminal Defense Lawyer's Association and Criminal Justice Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association. He has served as the Treasurer, Chair-elect, and Chair of this section, and also served as a member of the Bar's Commission on Judicial Selection and Retention. Super Lawyers also named him a "Rising Star" in both 2008 and 2010.
