Attorney Biography
My law firm is a general practice law firm specializing in criminal defense. Over the course of my more than 30 year legal career, I have tried to conclusion more than 80 Superior Court matters before juries, including charges of murder, robbery, sexual assault, burglary-- both residential and commercial, theft, kidnapping, money laundering, and other lesser included offenses. I have also handled a considerable amount of juvenile matters. I have also done a considerable amount of appeal work including appeals of matters rising to the United States Supreme Court. My legal practice also consists of bankruptcy, both individual and business, including bankruptcy protection under Chapter 7, chapter 11, and chapter 13. My practice also includes municipal court matters involving disorderly persons offenses and traffic violations, collection matters, business incorporations, real estate transactions, both residential and commercial and landlord tenancy disputes. I also have a substantial personal injury practice including auto automobile accidents, dog bite cases, injuries caused by nursing home neglect and Hospital medical staff neglect, slip and fall accidents, medical malpractice, and dental malpractice.
I graduated from Cornell University College of Arts and Sciences in 1974 having majored in Theoretical Mathematics and having minored in Computer Science. I then studied at Rutgers Law School and graduated in 1977 with a Juris Doctor degree.
After graduating from law school, I was selected to be the law clerk for the criminal assignments judge in the Superior Court for Bergen County. During this clerkship I successfully passed the New Jersey State bar exam and I was admitted to practice law in both the State of New Jersey and before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
In my legal career I have represented defendants in more than 800 criminal cases.
