Kerry Eston Hand

I hired Kerry E Hand on 04/2022 and very little to no action was taken on my behalf by Mr. Hand. This is despite his many empty promises and failed commitments. He talked my head off with a good game of promises. With my case, he discussed a legal strategy with me but he never executed ANYTHING. He rarely called me back. He never sent my discovery documents to the opposing side, despite me providing them to him within 7-10 days. I now may have to send the 100 pages of text message conversation to the judge, so I’m not fined or sanctioned. He was the main reason for my relatively simple contested divorce case stalling for 2 years +. According to the GA Bar, he was suspended on 03/12/2024. Guess when I found this information out? 2 hours before going into Court on a Motion to Compel hearing for not providing discovery documents. I paid him $3,000 to be sitting there as the Defendant with absolutely no representation, Pro Se. Now my only recourse is Fee Arbitration. My experience is this guy was a horrible “Legal Professional”.
