J. Lansing Kimmey

Mr. Kimmey was born in Charlottesville, Virginia. He has lived in Atlanta for over 35 years. Mr. Kimmey is married to Susan P. Kimmey. He has three children: Mary Ware, Laura Kimmey and Susannah Kimmey. Mr. Kimmey received his B.A. from the University of Virginia in 1971, where he graduated with Distinction. In 1974, Mr. Kimmey received his J.D. from Emory University School of Law. Mr. Kimmey began practicing with the Atlanta firm of Northcutt & Edwards in 1974. In 1985, Mr. Kimmey formed the law firm of Germano & Kimmey. Mr. Germano retired in 2002. From 2003 to 2007, Mr. Kimmey’s firm was known as Kimmey & Turk. Since 2007, the firm has operated under the name Kimmey & Associates, P.C. As of October 1, 2010, the firm name is Kimmey, Murphy & Horsley, P.C.
