Attorney Biography
Alan began his career as an attorney prosecuting in Cobb County, Georgia. As an Assistant Solicitor General, he handled numerous trials and appeals. After six years with the Solicitor General, including over a year serving as the county's DUI Court Prosecutor, Alan joined a boutique estate litigation firm trying civil cases all over Georgia.
While practicing as a civil litigator, Alan also served as Magistrate Judge reviewing criminal arrest and search warrants. After three years, Alan opened up his own law firm where he now practices both civil and criminal law.
Currently, Alan represents clients facing both felony and misdemeanor criminal charges. He has successfully helped clients avoid lengthy jail sentences, or even have their charges dismissed depending upon the facts of a particular case. He also continues to represent clients in civil disputes including business and contract matters, personal injury, and family law. Alan serves as a guardian ad litem in Cobb's Probate Court in all manner of estate, guardianship and conservatorship disputes. Alan also continues taking on appeals of complex criminal and civil cases.
