About Benjamin T Van Severen

Attorney Biography

My practice is focused entirely on criminal defense. I received my Bachelor of Arts from Marquette University in 2010, with majors in Political Science and Criminology. I then attended Marquette University Law School and received my Juris Doctor in 2013.

While in law school, I had two separate internships with the Wisconsin State Public Defender and a judicial internship with the Honorable Aaron E. Goodstein, U.S. Magistrate Judge.

I first joined Birdsall Law Offices in 2012 as a law clerk and then rejoined the firm as an Associate Attorney in 2013. I am admitted to practice in all courts in the State of Wisconsin and in the Federal Eastern District of Wisconsin.
