Hire Someone Else
Ellen did NOT act as my advocate while representing me as my attorney. She was more concerned about
my ex, what he wanted and what would be good for him, than about my best interests or my children's
best interests.
She made excuses for my ex and pushed me hard to settle when it was clearly not in my best
interests. She repeatedly forgot key facts in my case, and didn't object nor state critical facts in
hearings or correspondence with my ex's attorney. Ellen frequently gave unsolicited, personal,
psychological advice, despite her having NO expertise, qualifications or professional license
whatsoever in those areas. Her advice was appalling, COMPLETELY off-base, and went in direct
contradiction to the expertise and diagnoses of my ex provided by the custody evaluators and
licensed therapists with whom we worked. Moreover, Ellen was dishonest and unethical in charging me
thousands of dollars in fees for which she was unable to explain the work she had done. I'd
strongly recommend hiring someone else.
