A 1987 honors graduate from the University of Toledo College of Law, attorney Stephen A. Kennedy has spent his more than 25 years in the practice of law by successfully representing clients in litigation. Cases he has represented have included software copyright infringement, high-tech patent infringement, copyright misuse, patent-antitrust, intellectual property transactions, FINRA arbitration and employment litigation matters. He has represented a number of international, national and regional corporations in the development and execution of appropriate litigation strategies and IP transactions.
Mr. Kennedy focuses on cases involving commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation, securities litigation and arbitration. He has specific experience in litigating patent infringement actions involving medical devices, lasers, semiconductors, photography equipment and chemical compounds, copyright and trademark infringement, commercial cases involving rights to a publication licensing agreement, and complex commercial disputes. He is shareholder in the Texas firm Kennedy Law, LLP located in Dallas.
