Russell David Hunt Jr

Russ Hunt, Jr. is a Board Certified Criminal Law Specialist, who has tried dozens of serious felony trials to jury verdict in courts throughout Central Texas since 1994.

Russ has been president of both the Austin and Williamson county criminal defense attorneys' assocaitions, and is one of the most experienced violent crimes attorneys in the area.  Russ is one of very few attorneys recognized to be qualified to handle death penalty cases as lead counsel, a duty which he has undertaken on multiple occasions during the course of his practice.

Russ's practice encompases the entire range of criminal matters from misdemeanor DWI cases, to complex white collar fraud and computer crime cases.  He regularly handles federal criminal cases in Austin, Waco and Fort Hood.
