Michael James Magana

Mr. Magana was hired via telephone to bond out my son. I live in Florida and could not get to Texas to search for a lawyer due to Covid 19. I paid him $5000 via cc over the phone. He only met with my son twice. He would not return calls, texts, or emails. I have requested an itemized statement numerous times, my son has also requested an itemized statement. Still no response. I don't even know if he filed any paper work in my son's case thus far. My son was able to bond out on his own with a PR Bond that did not cost anything but that was after being in jail for 3 weeks for a crime he did not commit. I worked directly with the Detective who is investigating the case. I sent the detective documents, videos, ect. Mr. Magan did nothing, After many attempts to gain information from this liar and crook, I am now filing a complaint with the Texas State Bar. Also, after doing much research on this so called attorney, I have found there has been many complaints filed against him and a whole lot of bad reviews.
