Kenichi Yagi is an experienced corporate transactional attorney for Adair Myers Stevenson Yagi. He focuses his practice on commercial litigation and advises domestic and international clients in corporate matters, intellectual property disputes, personal injury, premises liability, products liability, insurance coverage, family law, real estate, employment law, and debt collections.

Mr. Yagi was born in Japan and moved to the United States when he was a teenager. He graduated high school in the United States and attended the University of Massachusetts at Lowell where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Mr. Yagi graduated magna cum laudeand was a member of the Alpha Kappa Delta Honor Society. He then earned his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center and received the Judge Mary Bacon scholarship, awarded to law students exemplifying professionalism while maintaining two-generation households living at the same residence.

Mr. Yagi is a certified Mediator and is licensed to practice law in the states of Texas and New York.  After working for a boutique law firm in Houston for twenty years, he joined Adair Myers Graves Stevenson as a Partner in 2018, later forming Adair Myers Stevenson Yagi in 2021. Mr. Yagi has extensive experience in commercial litigation and aided a chemical manufacturer in obtaining a multi-million dollar international arbitration award for his client. He has also represented a national insurer in several first-party homeowners claims involving mold damage and hurricane damage in both state and federal courts. Mr. Yagi has also assisted commercial property owners in disputes involving the appraised values of real property.

Mr. Yagi enjoys serving the legal needs of the Japanese community and serves as the Secretary General and Vice-President of Legal Affairs of the Japanese Association of Greater Houston. He is also an Associate Member of the Japanese Business Association of Houston. He is happy to help all his clients resolve their legal issues.
