Jim Richardson, Richardson Firm PLLC, is recognized as a leading trial lawyer in commercial litigation.

Jim served as President of the National Board of Trial Advocacy for 2020-2022. He has also served as the Founding President of the NBTA Austin-Area Chapter since 2015.
Jim holds three active Board Certifications, one by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Civil Trial Law, and two by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in Civil Trial Law and Civil Practice Advocacy. Jim is a Member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, an invitation-only national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges. Jim has served on numerous appointed committees of the State Bar of Texas and is past chair of the Civil Litigation Section of the Austin Bar Association. He frequently serves as course director, moderator, and presenter at legal conferences.
