Attorney Biography
Grace Weatherly is the founding board chair for the American College of Board Certified Attorneys, an elected Trustee and Legacy Fellow of the Foundation of the American Board of Trial Advocates, a founding partner of Wood, Thacker & Weatherly, a frequent speaker at continuing legal education seminars, and an instructor for the Masters In Trial Program for ABOTA.
She is currently the president-elect of the Dallas Chapter and a committee chair for Tex-ABOTA.
Grace Weatherly is a member of the State Bar of Texas’ Pattern Jury Charge committee for professional negligence, premise liability, and products liability jury instructions.
She is board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in both Labor and Employment Law and Personal Injury Trial Law, and board certified by the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys as a medical malpractice specialist.
Weatherly has devoted her entire career to civil trial law and has worked for the same firm in Denton, Texas since her second year in law school.
She represents plaintiffs in personal injury cases, has vast trial experience in fiduciary litigation and trade secrets cases, and her hobbies are voir dire and cross-examination.
