Attorney Biography
Eric Gruetzner is currently of counsel with Law Offices of Richard C. McConathy. His practice is exclusively confined to Criminal Defense and Civil Matters in the strongly litigated Collin County Courts. It is the opinion of many members of the bar that Collin County is one of the most aggressive counties in the state in punishing defendants. With this in mind, only hardnosed lawyers can survive in this environment.
Since 2002 Mr. Gruetzner has thrived with obtaining clients of Richard C. McConathy and his client's successful results. He has the experience of over 700 cases handled before the Texas Courts. His areas of practice included both felony and misdemeanor defense in Criminal Law and all matters before the civil courts in Texas. Mr. Gruetzner has received his law degree in 2002 from Texas Wesleyan School of Law in Fort Worth. He also attended and graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station.
After graduation from Texas A&M, Mr. Gruetzner served my community as an adult probation officer. He later went on to work in government affairs in Washington, D.C. and finally as a commercial insurance adjuster prior to becoming a licensed attorney Mr. Gruetzner was recognized for his trial skills during law school, with his induction to The Order of Barristers in 2002.
Additionally, he is a credentialed mediator. Mr. Gruetzner holds membership standing with the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Collin County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Dallas County Defense Lawyer Association, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and the Collin County Bar Association.
