Attorney Biography
Eddie Escobar is a partner of Reese & Escober, L.L.P. He was born in the Rio Grande Valley. He spent most of his life in Alice, Texas where he graduated from high school. After high school graduation, he attend Texas A&M University-Kingsville where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with a minor in English Literature. Immediately after graduation, he attended law school at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas.
While in law school, Mr. Escobar took specialized courses in the areas of Labor/Employment Law and Civil Rights. Also while in law school, Mr. Escobar worked as a student attorney for the St. Mary’s University Civil Justice Clinic. While at the Clinic, he represented indigent clients in civil matters in the Bexar County courts.
Mr. Escobar has been with Reese & Escobar, LLP since September 2003. During his tenure at the firm, he has represented clients with criminal charges including but not limited to: DWI, Intoxication Assault, Theft, Burglary, Credit Card Abuse, Robbery, Fraud, Forgery Manslaughter, Murder, Sexual Assaults, Stalking, Indecency and Injury with a Child, Narcotics, Evading Arrest, Drug Related Offenses and Tampering with Evidence.
Mr. Escobar has also represented clients in civil matters including Divorce, Child Support, Child Custody, Paternity, Guardianship, Probate & Wills and Business Litigation.
Mr. Escobar is fluent in Spanish. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and the Hispanic National Bar Association.
