Donna Tomlinson Weyand incompetently handled my modification and enforcement cases. She failed numerous times to exchange documents timely or completely. I ended up firing her 36 hours before trial—as she tried to force me into a settlement on a false pretense. She was woefully unprepared 36 hours before trial and had not even begun making exhibit binders for document intensive cases. Further, she charged for items she and her staff never competently completed, drafted, or filed. Moreover, she even appears to have distributed disputed funds out of trust to herself in violation of IOLTA rules. To make things worse, she also refused to get opposing party’s financials where child support was an issue. Additionally, she failed to make affirmative claims for relief in my modification case. I have brought her attention to her over billing, potential IOLTA violations, and damages she caused me. She refuses to make recompense for any of it. Think carefully before engaging this lawyer.
