Langdon*Davis, L.L.P. was formed in 2007 by Texarkana native Brent Langdon and New Boston native Kyle Davis. Mr. Langdon's primarily offices in the firm’s Texarkana office at 5904 Summerfield. The Texarkana office primarily focuses on the litigation practice with the assistance of firm attorneys Lisa McPherson and Craig Foster. Also located in the Texarkana office are our of counsel attorneys, Demaris Hart (Board Certified - TBLS - Family Law), and Bobby Howell who primarily has a commercial real estate practice. Mr. Davis, along with junior partners, Nick Newton and Mark Elliott, office in the firm’s New Boston location at 625 Sam Houston Drive, adjacent to the Bowie County Courthouse. This year marks Brent Langdon’s 31st year of practicing law in Texarkana. Kyle Davis returned to New Boston in 2001 to join his father’s practice and continued that firm after his father's retirement. Together, Brent and Kyle emphasize prompt and courteous service combined with a high level of professionalism. The firm continues to build its reputation for providing quality legal representation. Mr. Langdon concentrates his practice in civil litigation cases, including complex family law, such as divorce, modification of child custody and/or support, termination and adoption. He also handles the firm’s personal injury cases and business client litigation. He has been selected as a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. He is also a Board Certified Family Law Specialist by the National Board of Legal Specialization. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which is limited to lawyers who have demonstrated exceptional skill, experience and excellence in advocacy by achieving a trial verdict in the amount of One Million Dollars or more. He has defended numerous local and national businesses in civil litigation, resulting from various disputes including contractual, collection, product liability and class action. He regularly appears in county, state and federal courts in both Texas and Arkansas for jury and non-jury trials. Mr. Davis’s practice emphasizes real estate transactions, including commercial, residential and farm/ranch. He also handles title and boundary litigation, suits to remove clouds and title defects and a range of other related issues. Mr. Davis represents title companies, banks, investors and business/home owners. His practice also includes probate, wills, estate planning, elder law, social security and divorces. Nick Newton and Mark Elliott have a MBA. Mr. Newton is a CPA and has a Masters of Law in taxation. Attorneys Langdon, Newton, McPherson, Foster, Hart and Howell are also licensed in Arkansas.
