Highly intelligent lawyer with effective associate development and mentoring
Alex is a great lawyer. Having worked at this firm on a few cases under his supervision, I can
attest that he often spends time on developing associates. He also provides insightful edits and
comments to each and every one of my work products, be it a motion, agreement, or correspondence,
allowing me to learn along the way. He is always ahead of the game, planing litigation strategies
before deadlines are even set. His litigation mindset is akin to playing chess, setting traps and
getting the opposing counsel to concede. Seeing it firsthand really puts a different perspective
about what it means to become a great lawyer. On career development, he typically debriefs with each
associate after each motion filing on the good's and the bad's, and gives us the tools to become our
best. Yes, he is demanding (and so do most partners) but he treats us, the associates (and
paralegals), as his colleagues, and not subordinates, which makes it that much more enjoyable
working with him.
