Attorney Biography
I believe in representing good people who were wrongfully injured and feel they do not have a voice to speak for them.
I am a dedicated and passionate voice for the injured. I am not afraid to take on big insurance companies, corporations, or employers. I understand that every single one of my clients is going through a challenging time and suffering from serious injuries due to no fault of their own, whether those serious injuries are caused by a negligent traffic pattern design, drunk driver, distracted truck operator, or a negligent motorist. I focus my practice on car accidents, motorcycle accidents, trucking accidents, pedestrian accidents, cases involving injured workers, and negligent death. I am especially passionate to help individuals fight for the medical treatment they deserve and fair treatment from the insurance companies.
I earned my B.S. degree from Louisiana Tech University before beginning a career in aviation. It was during my career in aviation that I learned about insurance companies and their tactics to dodge fair payment to injured parties. During my aviation career, I attended the Charleston School of Law where I completed my J.D. in two in a half years. Shortly after being sworn in by the South Carolina Bar, I opened Morris Law, LLC and began fighting for seriously injured victims.
I earned a nomination and inclusion in the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list since 2019. This recognition is reserved for the top 2.5 percent of attorneys in the State of South Carolina under the age of 40. The National Trial Lawyers Association has recognized me as a Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Lawyer and a Top 25 Motor Vehicle trial lawyer in South Carolina.
I live in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with my wife Julie and our three dogs, Abby, Savannah, and Murphy. I enjoy spending time with friends and folks in the Grand Strand community. I currently support Backpack buddies and believe every child should have the opportunity to attend school with the supplies they need to learn.
