Attorney Biography
José A. Moreda del Valle, LL.M. was admitted to the Puerto Rico Bar, the U.S. Court of Appeals, First Circuit, and the US District Court for the District of Puerto Rico in 2011. He also became a Notary Public in 2011. Attorney Moreda del Valle received his education at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus (B.S.B.A, 2007) majoring in Industrial Management; then at the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, School of Law (J.D., 2010) and lastly at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, School of Law (LL.M., 2016) earning a Masters in Law in Litigation & Alternative Dispute Resolution where he recieved the Antonio Fernós López-Cepero Award for Academic Excellence for 4.00 GPA. Attorney Moreda del Valle worked from 2011 to 2016 at a Law Firm in Ponce, PR, there he headed the firms' Creditors Rights in Bankruptcy Department managing over a thousand loans at any one time. On 2017 Attorney Moreda del Valle along with his staff established José A. Moreda del Valle Law Office to continue to provide Legal Services in multiple areas, particularly in Civil Litigation and Banking Matters; including Creditor's Rights in Bankruptcy, and Commercial and Mortgage Foreclosures. Attorney Moreda del Valle has experience in various areas of law, such as probate, contract litigation and medical malpractice cases. Furthermore he has ample experience as a Notary Public particularly in Mortgage Closings and Commercial OREO closings. Attorney Moreda del Valle is a member of the Puerto Rico Bar Association; the Puerto Rico Bankruptcy Bar Association; and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
