Attorney Biography
I am a Senior Fellow at the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE) and counsel with the law firm of Mudrick & Zucker in Blue Bell, Pa. I started my career at a large law firm but soon realized I wanted to do work that really made a difference in the lives of individuals. At FIRE, a nonprofit dedicated to defending students’ and faculty members’ individual rights, I spent 15 years working to change university policies and practices that denied people their most fundamental rights, including the rights to free speech and due process. During my years at FIRE, I spoke to a tremendous number of people who needed good legal representation, both on campus and in court, in order to adequately defend themselves against universities that often seem to care little about the students and faculty they claim to value. So while I continue to work with FIRE to change the toxic campus culture, I decided it was also time to launch a legal career helping the countless individuals whose lives have been permanently altered by the actions of colleges and universities. So if that describes you, I am here to help. I am passionate about this cause and will do everything in my power to help hold colleges and universities accountable for their mistreatment of students, faculty, and staff.
