Attorney Biography
I am a public interest attorney with over 20 years experience in juvenile, district and federal court. My work has focused exclusively on representing the interests of children and representing persons with mental illness.
Attorney Guardian ad Litem: Represented the best interests of children and teens in cases of alleged abuse, neglect, and dependency in the juvenile courts. Worked in district court representing children in high-conflict divorce and custody cases and where there may have been allegations of abuse or neglect of a child.
Mediator:Completed state-approved Basic Mediation training and Advanced Domestic Mediation training for domestic cases. Provide pro-bono and sliding scale mediation services to divorcing parents who had custody and other child-oriented issues. Help parties solve problems to achieve desired results.
Co-Director of Protection and Advocacy Program:Represented children with developmental disabilities and mental illness in negotiations with school districts and in administrative proceedings to obtain access to educational services.
