Robert Chad Nelson

Chad Nelson is a personal injury attorney with DM Injury Law, serving clients throughout Oklahoma. He concentrates his practice on personal injury matters and currently leads the firm’s Oklahoma City and Tulsa offices.

Chad’s commitment to the law and public service was shaped early in life by his family. His father has practiced law in Oklahoma for four decades, while his mother dedicated more than 20 years to ministry and nonprofit work. Growing up around those influences instilled in Chad a strong sense of community and a desire to help others, ultimately guiding him toward a legal career.

Known for his empathetic and client-focused approach, Chad prioritizes understanding each client’s situation so he can advocate effectively on their behalf. He approaches every case with compassion while remaining fully prepared to litigate aggressively when necessary.

An Oklahoma native, Chad earned both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Oklahoma. Prior to joining DM Injury Law, he developed his skills at mid-sized law firms in Oklahoma City, gaining valuable courtroom and litigation experience.

Chad is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma City’s LOYAL Program and has remained active in the community through service roles, including former Alumni Board Member for Heritage Hall Schools, Junior Board Member for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Oklahoma County, and Associate Board Member of Oklahoma Lawyers for Children.
