Bruce Edge

Bruce Edge is 1 of only 43 attorneys in the United States who are Board Certified in DUI Defense according to the American Bar Association guidelines.  He is a Regent for the National College for DUI Defense, Director of the Oklahoma Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Association, a Sustaining Member of the National College of DUI Defense and an adjunct professor with Oklahoma University and Northeastern State University.

Bruce owns an Intoxilyzer 8000-the newest model breath machine. There are only 6 attorneys in the U.S. who have one of these machines and Bruce has instructed attorneys in the United States and Canada about the use and problems with the machine.

 Bruce is a Certified Instructor of the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests(SFSTs) by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. He is certified by The State of Oklahoma Board of Tests for Alcohol and Drug Influence as an Independent Operator of the Intoxilyzer 5000 and 8000.

Bruce has co-authored 20 books regarding DUI Defense including 2 editions of Oklahoma DUI Defense; The Law and Practice (Lawry and Judges Publishing). He is sought out by other attorneys throughout the United States to instruct them regarding DUI defense including recent sessions with the National College for DUI Defense held at Harvard University as well as teaching in Canada and Ukraine.
