Catherine R. Meehan

Catherine's behavior is appalling. She is unethical, dishonest, and her approach when confronted with the way she handled my case was even more alarming. The Firm attacked me and never took my concerns into consideration. They did however take 4500 of my hard earned money. Catherine was sent to cover my case because the attorney originally assigned never bothered to show up to court, I never even met him. Catherine made me wait for hours, never even made a professional greeting. She tells me the case was handled and that they judge and prosecutor agreed to the terms. As it turns out, that wasn't the case. When I discovered that the attorney lied to me, I contacted the prosecutor and he denied agreeing to any of what Catherine told me. The prosecutor offered to meet with Catherine and she refused. When I shared my concerns Catherine and her Firm treated me with such disrespect and called me "disgruntled". I do not believe calling into question that I was mispresented by the Firm I hired to protect me is considered disgruntled. I believe this is my right under the law to share that there are some attorneys that act maliciously and are dishonest. I learned the hard way. It is possible that others may have had a good experience with Catherine but I did not. And as professional female who expected the same treatment from another female, it is completely disappointing and disheartening. I do not recommend Catherine or her Firm.
