Attorney Biography
Alexander J. Durst, ESQ, is a civil trial attorney with over a decade of experience in commercial and complex civil litigation, particularly in financial services litigation and high-value contractual disputes. He has achieved significant results for clients, including complete defense victories and seven-figure settlements. Notable cases include a public corruption case involving a former Metropolitan Sewer District official. Alex is undefeated in plaintiff-side jury trials and has extensive appellate experience, especially in Ohio’s First District Court of Appeals.
Active in the legal community, Alex has chaired the Cincinnati Bar Association’s Appellate Practice Group since 2018 and serves on the First District Court of Appeals’ Local Rules Committee and Pro Bono program. He is also involved in professional associations within the financial services industry. Fluent in Spanish, Alex has lived in Spain and Argentina and previously worked as a Spanish interpreter in the local court system. He holds a J.D. from Washington University School of Law and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Cincinnati.
