Attorney Biography
Defense attorney Veronica Clifford has dedicated her career to helping those who are experiencing some of the most difficult times of their lives. She takes her role as a lawyer seriously, and she enjoys guiding her clients through complex legal processes to favorable outcomes. She co-founded the Clifford Law Group in order to help those in the North Carolina Triangle who have been accused of criminal offenses and those who are struggling with immigration issues.
Veronica majored in communication studies at Florida State University while she also minored in political science and classical civilizations. On graduating with her B.A., she enrolled at Florida State University's College of Law where she studied while working as a law clerk at the Law Firm of Gray Robinson, P.A. In 2008, she graduated with her Juris Doctor and became licensed to practice law. As an attorney, she has been a member of several firms, increasing her experience until founding her own practice.
Hundreds of clients have experienced Veronica's attention to detail and proactive approach. She has taken on a range of felony and misdemeanor criminal charge cases, including DUI, drug charges, violent crimes, property crimes, and traffic offenses. She has extensively studied the issue of pharmaceutical drugs and the laws regulating them, including giving several presentations on the subject at law conferences and seminars.
As a fluent speaker of Spanish, Veronica is able to connect with clients facing difficult immigration issues. She understands that the legal red tape surrounding visas, green cards, and other necessary steps for immigration can be stressful and overwhelming. She is dedicated to helping clients complete these tasks quickly and with as little stress as possible.
