Attorney Biography
Richard Granowsky is a North Carolina Board Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law and a North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission Certified Superior Court Mediator. His litigation practice is focused on workers’ compensation, employment law, and general civil litigation. He joined the firm in 1999 when he graduated from law school at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Richard received his Juris Doctor degree with Honors and was elected to the UNC Chapter of the Order of the Coif. While in law school, he worked on the North Carolina Journal of International Law & Commercial Regulation.
Before attending law school, Mr. Granowsky was a school psychologist and researcher holding a M.Ed. in school psychology from the University of North Carolina and licensed as a Psychological Associate by the North Carolina Psychology Board. Mr. Granowsky earned his Bachelor of Arts in psychology at Appalachian State University in 1986.
