A former lab coat wearing scientist, Jamie received a B.S. in Biology from the University of North Alabama, and attended graduate school at Western Carolina University. Seeking new challenges, he attended the Appalachian School of Law, graduating top 25 % of his class in 2009. He is licensed in North Carolina, Mississippi, Iowa, and the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians Tribal Court.
