Attorney Biography
Rett Saslow's is a North Carolina Board of Legal Specialization Certified Specialist in Business and Consumer Bankruptcy Law since 1996. His law practice is primarily directed to assisting people through bankruptcy, business law, transactional matters, creditors' rights, collections, and commercial real estate. Rett advises clients on business issues and corporate law; assists clients in acquisitions, sales, financing and leasing transactions; and represents clients in Chapter 7, Chapter 13 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases.
A native of Greensboro, North Carolina, Rett attended public schools in Greensboro, and Davidson College and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Upon graduation from law school in 1976, he joined Hill Evans Jordan & Beatty's predecessor firm and has remained as a member of the firm through the present time. Presently, he acts as one of the firm's Managing Members.
Rett is a member of the North Carolina Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Greensboro Bar Association, and the 18th Judicial District Bar. Toward practice focus, he is a member of the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees, a Member of the Panel of Standing Trustees for Chapter 7 through the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of North Carolina, and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
Rett is listed in Best Lawyers in America, Bankruptcy and Creditor-Debts Section and the Bankruptcy Litigation Section since 2010. He was previously named to North Carolina Super Lawyers in 2007.
