Andrew Nicholas "Nick" Clifford is a native to Raleigh, North Carolina, and an alumni of N.C. State. He is a dedicated criminal defense attorney whose passion for justice was piqued while still a high school student at Athens Drive in Raleigh, NC. While earning his high school diploma, he simultaneously worked as a file clerk at the law firm Anderson & Anderson, PA, where he stayed until his first summer of law school. This experience, along with his education at North Carolina State University, where he graduated with a degree in business management, set a strong educational foundation.
After working as a paralegal, Nick went on to attend Florida State University College of Law, where he graduated with a Juris Doctorate in 2008. While in Florida, Nick served as Assistant Regional Counsel at the Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel in Florida. This position allowed him to represent individuals who faced charges ranging from traffic crime to serious felony offenses.
Nick honed his legal skills as an attorney at a law firm in Tallahassee, practicing civil law, bankruptcy law, and juvenile defense. He also assisted the Public Law Center at FSU by representing minors who were charged with serious felonies and the possibility of long-term prison sentences. Nick's reputation as a hard fighter and skilled negotiator follows him still today in his work as a Raleigh criminal defense attorney and owner of the Clifford Law Group.
