He is a dedicated criminal defense attorney whose passion for justice was piqued while still a high school student at Athens Drive in Raleigh, NC. While earning his high school diploma, he simultaneously worked as a file clerk at the law firm Anderson & Anderson, PA, where he stayed until his first summer of law school. This experience, along with his education at North Carolina State University, where he graduated with a degree in business management, set a strong educational foundation.

Nick honed his legal skills as an attorney at a law firm in Tallahassee, practicing civil law, bankruptcy law, and juvenile defense. He also assisted the Public Law Center at FSU by representing minors who were charged with serious felonies and the possibility of long-term prison sentences. Nick's reputation as a hard fighter and skilled negotiator follows him still today in his work as a Raleigh criminal defense attorney and owner of the Clifford Law Group.
