Andrea L. Davis

Andrea is a North Carolina girl through and through, growing up in Greensboro and completing her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and graduating cum laude from Elon University School of Law in 2012. In law school, Andrea served as Student Bar President from 2011-2012, along with representing Elon in Moot Court, Andrea was one of two students who represented Elon at the 2012 Vis Moot in Vienna, competing in the International Commercial Arbitration Moot and winning an Honorary Mention for Best Respondent’s Brief. As a law student, she was also credited as a supporting author in a NC Bar Journal article entitled “The Buck Stops with You: Protecting Attorney Trust” related to attorney trust account defalcations. After graduation in 2012, Andrea continued to be active in Elon Alumni activities, serving on the Elon Law School Alumni Council as a representative, and as Alumni Council President from 2017-2019. Since 2018, Andrea has enjoyed coaching law students at Elon Law in appellate advocacy competitions as an adjunct professor for moot court. Inspiring a love for the law in others is her passion. Since beginning her law practice in 2012, Andrea has practiced civil litigation all over North Carolina, and added Florida into her law practice in 2018. Andrea has participated in litigation in both District and Superior Court on matters varying from employment law, to business litigation, to estate litigation and family law. She has experience in collections, real property, business and contracts, transactional real estate, and has represented clients in EEOC investigations, National Labor Board complaints, as well as handling mediations. During her time as a solo practice attorney, Andrea liked to stay busy assisting other law firms in preparing briefs for both state and federal court.  Having worked as a solo practitioner as well as in small to mid-size firms, in all types of litigation, Andrea is now focusing on family law – where she can use her experience in property, estates, employment, collections litigation to help clients in their more trying times as a family law attorney. Her focus is helping others and using her skills to assist clients reach satisfactory resolutions to important family matters. Andrea currently serves clients in Randolph, Davidson, Forsyth, and Guilford Counties, but enjoys seeing new courthouses all over North Carolina. Her goal has been to appear in all 100 counties in North Carolina. Andrea also enjoys history, science fiction and watching baking shows and trying the recipes at home.
