Tara Marie Diamond

Tara Diamond is the managing partner of The Law Offices of Diamond, Fee, Kalos & Ballard, PLLC.  She has exclusively practiced in all areas of family and matrimonial law throughout New York City for more than 20 years.

Tara is a member of the Manhattan Family Court 18-B Assigned Counsel Panel and is certified by the First Judicial Department as an attorney qualified to represent children in custody and visitation disputes in both Manhattan Family Court and Manhattan Supreme Court.

As a certified mediator and parenting coordinator, Tara frequently uses her conflict resolution skills to help families reduce conflict, improve communication, find common interests to resolve disagreements and effectively co-parent.

Tara is a member of the Association of Family and Conciliatory Courts (AFCC), the New York State Bar Association, and the New York Women’s Bar Association (NYWBA).  Tara has assumed leadership roles for the New York Women’s Bar Association by serving on the Board of Directors and is co-chair of the Children’s Rights committee and Judiciary committee.  She is currently serving as the Corresponding Secretary of the NYWBA.

Tara graduated with High Honors from the University of Florida and earned her Juris Doctorate at the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly University of California Hastings College of the Law).
