Attorney Biography
Richard J. Sobelsohn is a product manager for the LexisNexis transactional attorney product called Lexis Practice Advisor.
Richard practiced law for more than 17 years, mainly in the area of real estate and sustainable development and is beginning his eighth year as an adjunct professor of law. Richard teaches Sustainable Building Law, Commercial Leasing and Real Estate Transactions at Brooklyn Law School, Fordham University School of Law and New York Law School.
He is a Green Globes Professional, LEED Accredited Professional, a member of The Fellows of the American Bar Foundation, the Chair of the Economics, Technology & Practice Methods Committee of the American Bar Association's Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section and was recently elected as a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL).
Richard writes and speaks extensively on the topics of sustainable building law and ethics and is the author of "Trends in Green Leasing – From the Early Days to Today" in the March/April 2016 issue of Probate and Property.
