Nelson E Timken

Nelson is a Mediator, Arbitrator and Special Master (1st Dept.) with a distinguished career spanning three decades in the New York State Judicial System as a Principal Law Clerk (1994-2023). During this time, he earned a Master's Degree in International Dispute Resolution at Fordham Law School (2022) and became a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (2022). In 2023, Nelson retired as a law clerk to embark on a career in Alternative Dispute Resolution. He is a member of the New York State Mediation Panel (Part 146), a Florida Circuit Certified Mediator, and a Qualified New Jersey Rule 1:40 Mediator on the Court Approved Civil Mediator List. Additionally, he has been a FINRA Arbitrator since 2018.
