Attorney Biography
Matthew Lizotte’s experience centers on all aspects of New York and New Jersey foreclosure law from pre-commencement to post-foreclosure evictions. Matthew graduated Cum Laude from Stony Brook University in 2010. He graduate from Fordham University School of Law in 2014. He was admitted to practice in the states of New York and New Jersey in 2015. Since beginning to practice in early 2015, Matthew has quickly attained diverse and extensive litigation experience, making appearances in 4 of New York City’s 5 Boroughs in both foreclosure and landlord tenant actions ranging from complex motions to landlord-tenant inquests. Matthew provides a unique perspective to the firm based on his prior experience at both defending and prosecuting evictions at a non-profit prior to joining Pulvers, Pulvers, Thompson, and Friedman, LLP. Client-centered, Matthew works hard to ensure that all clients receive the best experience possible and all client needs are met in as short of a time frame as possible. Matthew has experience in assessing standing, reviewing and clearing title, and legal drafting at all stages of foreclosure litigation.
