Mahir Sheikh Nisar

Mahir S. Nisar is a Partner of Nisar Law Group, P.C. Mr. Nisar is an experienced litigator with versatile legal expertise in a number of practice areas. Mahir received his education at Vanderbilt University and Hofstra University School of Law, an institution now known as Maurice A. Deane School of Law. During his time in law school, Mr. Nisar studied both commercial and civil litigation. 

As a member of the Queens County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, and the Nassau County Bar Association, Mr. Nisar is an active member in a number of esteemed professional legal committees. He also served a term as an elected Board of Director of the Westbury Business Industrial Development (BID). Mr. Nisar is also a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA).

Mr. Nisar recently received the honor of being included in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017s' New York Metro Super Lawyers® Rising Stars? list and was widely showcased in a number of publications for his accomplishments, including the New York Times in October 2014-2017.
