Attorney Biography
Jonathan Gill, a native New Yorker, graduated Cum Laude from SUNY Oswego in 1985. He then received his J. D. degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 1988. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1989, and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court [Southern, Eastern Districts].

Mr. Gill served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx District Attorney’s Office from 1988 through 1997. In addition to serving as a Senior Trial Attorney in the Major Offense & Homicide Trial Bureaus, Mr. Gill was also Deputy Director of Litigation Training for the incoming classes of newly hired ADA’s. As a Major Offense & Homicide Assistant, Mr. Gill conducted over fifty jury trials in State Supreme Court with a conviction rate of 96%.
These trials included homicide and high-profile cases involving career criminals and involved the examination of expert witnesses in areas of neurology, orthopedics, cardiology, trauma surgery, pathology, crime scene and accident reconstruction, ballistics and identification of controlled substances.
As Deputy Director, Trial Training Bureau he helped to create and implement office-wide training programs in basic and advanced trial advocacy covering every aspect of criminal litigation. From 1997 through 2004, Mr. Gill worked as a Senior Trial Associate for his partner, Mr. Creedon who was the managing attorney at Creedon & Associates, as a staff counsel trial attorney for The Travelers Insurance Company.

?As a Major Case Senior Trial Attorney, Mr. Gill prepared and tried high exposure personal injury cases involving death or serious injuries.

As Subrogation Team Leader, Mr. Gill created, developed and managed all aspects of Major Case Property, Auto and Worker’s Compensation subrogation lines from intake and investigation, through litigation to trial, arbitration or settlement. He responded to the scenes of catastrophic fire, water, building collapse and airliner crash property losses to conduct investigations.

Mr. Gill also served as Team Leader of the Assigned Risk and Specialty Auto Unit and supervised a dedicated team of ten attorneys and two paralegals handling all aspects of this automobile liability litigation.

Mr. Gill founded Creedon & Gill PC, now located at 24 Woodbine Avenue, Northport, New York, in March of 2004. This litigation firm specializes in insurance, commercial, subrogation and injury litigation.?
Mr. Gill is a member of the American Bar Association and New York State Bar Association. He has lectured on various tort negligence issues for Claim Litigation Management.
