Attorney Biography
I am a tax attorney dedicated to helping individuals and businesses navigate a wide range of IRS tax challenges, including tax liens, wage garnishments, payroll tax debt, and IRS audits.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, and my Juris Doctorate from American University’s Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C., with a specialization in business and federal taxation law. I began my legal career as a commercial business litigator in Washington, D.C., before transitioning to New York City to join Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, one of the world's leading law firms. At Paul Weiss, I represented multinational corporations, focusing on financial audits, tax impact assessments, commercial litigation, and investigations into financial reporting and accounting practices.
As a licensed federal tax attorney, I am authorized to represent taxpayers across all 50 states under IRS Circular 230. I hold active bar memberships in New York and Maryland and am admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court, where I handle federal tax cases nationwide.
In 2011, I founded Delia Law P.C., a law firm dedicated exclusively to resolving complex IRS tax issues. At Delia Law, we provide personalized solutions for a variety of tax matters, including negotiating Offers in Compromise, handling IRS audits and appeals, establishing full-pay and reduced payment plans, drafting tax opinion letters, developing tax strategies, addressing financial hardships, releasing bank levies and wage garnishments, resolving payroll tax issues, and managing tax fraud and other collection cases. My mission is to guide clients toward effective and lasting resolutions for their tax concerns. We have additional locations in San Diego, Los Angeles and Bethesda.
