Joey Gilbert

Joey Gilbert is a committed legal advocate for the injured, the criminally accused, and individuals or companies that demand a fierce legal representative in their corner. Following a successful boxing career – during which we was a 3-time National NCBA champion, a cast member on NBC’s The Contender, and a #3 ranked WBO boxer – Joey dedicated his career fully to practicing the art of law. He draws from the intensive work ethic honed during his boxing career to fight zealously for his clients in Reno, Nevada.

Joey is licensed in Nevada and admitted to practice in all United States Federal Courts. His focus on criminal/civil practice, public policy, government affairs, and sports-entertainment law prepare him to handle a diverse range of legal matters. His passion for the law and his commitment to clients enable him to successfully and cost-efficiently handle the matters he undertakes.

Aside from practicing law, Joey remains active in the boxing world, having been a licensed Nevada promoter since 2007. He is also a member of the Nevada Association of Public Safety Officers (NAPSO) where he works closely with local law enforcement agencies, and volunteers a considerable amount of time working pro-bono for the nonprofit Children’s Cabinet.
