Jon-Thomas Roemmick

Jon-Thomas Roemmick, known as JT, is a dedicated attorney committed to fighting injustice and protecting the rights of others. JT enlisted in the United States Army Infantry at 17, shortly after the events of 9/11. Throughout his military career, he completed multiple combat deployments and advanced as a noncommissioned officer before receiving an honorable discharge due to career-ending injuries.

Following his military service, JT pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Colorado Technical University, with a focus on forensics and criminology. He subsequently attended Creighton University School of Law, where he served as the administrative officer for the Military Law Society, graduated with a litigation certificate, and received pro bono honors. Notably, he competed in the Thurgood Marshall Moot Court Competition during his first year—an opportunity seldom afforded to first-year law students. Concurrently, JT worked as a law clerk for the Douglas County Attorney’s Office, where he supported the Veterans Treatment Court and gained experience in juvenile law and criminal law.

JT approaches the practice of law with a mission-first mentality, unwavering determination, and a commitment to client-focused advocacy. He listens attentively to his clients’ needs and consistently delivers maximum effort to ensure they are treated fairly and equitably under the law.

Prior to joining Liberty Law Group, JT’s primary practice areas were Workers’ Compensation Defense and Insurance Defense. He also has extensive experience in criminal law, landlord-tenant disputes, guardianships, and conservatorships. His prior work defending employers and insurance companies provides him with a unique perspective on personal injury and workers’ compensation claims, allowing him to resolve claims expeditiously, secure deserved outcomes, and prevent unnecessary delays. JT is devoted to advocating for his clients with integrity and determination.
