Shelbie Lynn Langford

Shelbie Langford is an attorney at DM Injury Law who is committed to protecting her clients’ rights and guiding them through the challenges of workers’ compensation claims. She approaches each case with confidence and precision, taking pride in her ability to break down complex issues and help clients navigate an often confusing legal process.

Shelbie gained early courtroom experience while still in law school, where she presented her first legal argument before a federal judge. That experience helped shape her confidence as an attorney and prepared her to handle difficult situations on behalf of her clients. She believes in providing clear, honest guidance at every stage of a case so clients understand their options and know what to expect. Recognizing how overwhelming the workers’ compensation system can be, Shelbie strives to be a steady and reliable advocate for those she represents.

Growing up in Kearney, Missouri, Shelbie was closely connected to the realities of workplace injuries. Both her father and grandfather worked on the production line at Ford Motor Company, and she witnessed firsthand how challenging the workers’ compensation process could be when her father had to navigate it himself. That experience continues to motivate her to make the process as smooth and accessible as possible for her clients today.

Outside of work, Shelbie enjoys staying active through 5K races, soccer leagues, and yoga. She also loves spending time with her Dutch Shepherd/Greyhound, her boyfriend, friends, and family. Shelbie regularly volunteers with local dog shelters and youth organizations throughout the Kansas City area.
