Attorney Biography
Robert “Fritz” Simmon joined DM Injury Law to help expand the firm’s personal injury practice, bringing a relentless drive for justice to every case he handles. His determination and courtroom presence reflect a deep commitment to standing up for people who have been harmed and ensuring their voices are heard.
Fritz’s path to the legal profession was shaped early. Raised in a family of attorneys, he always envisioned a future in the law. His natural comfort with public speaking and lifelong inclination to advocate for those who need help most reinforced that goal and ultimately led him to pursue a legal career.
Before joining DM Injury Law, Fritz served as an Assistant Prosecutor in Franklin County, Kansas. In that role, he dedicated his work to protecting victims and holding offenders accountable, with a significant focus on domestic violence cases. Whether resolving matters through diversion or litigating bench trials, Fritz found purpose in pursuing justice for vulnerable individuals—experience that now fuels his fearless advocacy for personal injury clients.
Fritz believes effective representation is built on three core principles: listening, connection, and decisive action. Growing up in St. Louis, Missouri, he spent time working in his father’s pizza shop, where he learned the importance of treating every person with dignity and respect—values that continue to guide his interactions with clients today.
Fritz earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri before spending a year in Rome, Italy, where he obtained his M.B.A. from St. John’s University. After returning to the United States, he continued on to pursue his legal career. Outside of work, Fritz enjoys golfing, traveling with his wife Sarah, and spending quality time with family and friends.
